Stefan Goldmann started out at the legendary Classic label and made his way up with a handful of EPs and remixes, including some highly acclaimed singles for Josh Wink's Philly-based Ovum label. With work for Innervisions and Perlon he recently found himself in the center of what his hometown Berlin is famous for. Some of his rather experimental works have been recently added to the IMEB phonoteque at the National Library of France and exclusively included in Richie Hawtin's DE9 Transitions dvd.
In 2006, Stefan released Sleepy Hollow on Innervisions, also featuring a collaboration with Germany's most wanted, Âme. Sleepy Hollow was voted being one of the best tracks of 2006 by the readers of Germany's Groove and De:Bug magazines. It attracted djs as diverse as Carl Craig, Laurent Garnier, Ricardo Villalobos, Steve Bug, Luciano, Dixon and Gilles Peterson playing it in their sets and making it a hit all over the place. In 2007, Stefan is finally about to found his own label, Macro. Future releases also include several remixes (DJ Gregory, Chelonis R. Jones, Blackjoy, IT) and new material for Perlon. Stefan is regularly DJing at Berlin's infamous Panorama Bar, besides playing various spots all over Europe and North America.
