Undo y Vicknoise are the names of two dj’s and producers from Barcelona. They met in 2003 and shortly afterwards they founded their label Factor City. Beside their own productions they’ve been editing big names such as Ellen Allien, Paul Kalkbrenner, Holger Zilske and Agoria together with new names, between them, Lontano, d.a.r.y.l., Sistema Spare Time and now lately Van Hai. During this five years the label has become one of the most well known and respected in Spain and it has created its own sound.
Their productions are characterized for the combination of differences styles; electronic meets pop meets techno and minimal mixing digital with analog. Undo & Vicknoise have a clear objective with their music, make you dance! The result can be seen in their own tracks as “Orca”, “Happy Monday”; “Onda Expansiva” and “Submarino” and in the remixes that they’ve done for Akufen, Spunky, Trisomie 21 and 2 Rare People.
Undo & Vicknoise are both residents at The Loft, Razzmatazz, in Barcelona since more than five years ago. They’ve been all around Europe, realizing live sessions and on 4 decks. The live is always up to date with its mixture between edited and unedited tracks together with energy, melodies, keyboards and Undo’s voice.
Some of the clubs where they’ve performed are WMF, Cookies (Berlin), La Scene (Paris), Coppelia, Macumba (Madrid), Pulsar (Portugal) and festivals like Sonar, Groove Parade, Bam, Les Nuits Sonores, Electrosonic, Creamfields Andalucia among others.
After celebrating the five years anniversary during the last months with parties and a CD-compilation they’re now back with one of their, until know, best work, “Submarino” with and amazing remix by Paul Kalkbrenner. Their next release is called Raveland and it will come out to the summer and it will surely be one of those tracks that you’ll dance of your feet to during the festivals and open air parties.
